When does school start?
Traditional classes start in September. There are two semesters with eight-week quarters. Classes end in May. One-on-one and asynchronous classes may start anytime.

Will the curriculum, subjects, and teaching methods be similar to those in your in-person school?
The curriculum, subjects, and teaching methods are the same as in the in-person classrooms at the Fairfax Christian School, and the teachers are from our faculty.

Is the school full time and does it replace my current school?
Fairfax Scholars is a full-time online school, or students can choose to take individual classes. Once you apply and submit current transcripts or report cards, our counselors will recommend a course plan that is in line with your university goals.

Can I get a high school diploma?
Yes. Our high school diplomas are issued in conjunction with our parent school — Fairfax Christian School, which is accredited, has had graduates since 1968, and is recognized by US colleges and universities.

Can I transfer to Fairfax Christian School anytime?
Yes. Students may transfer to the Fairfax Christian School anytime during the school year. Tuition will be credited toward your in-person tuition.

What is a W.I.S.E. Plan?
The Fairfax Christian School and Fairfax Scholars have developed our W.I.S.E. Plan.
